The volume of the universe, including the earth, amounts to 4,2 x 1069‘cubic miles'. Cubic Miles In a Cubic Miles project, pupils from two countries adopt a cubic mile in the vicinity of their school. This cubic mile is being visualised and researched using four different dimensions. The pupils then mutually exchange information about the working method and about the results. They make a lifelike exhibition in their own school and develop a web-exhibition with the group from the other country.
Cubic miles is suitable for 'high quality exchange' between pupils of schools in different countries. They discover how domestic and foreign small areas (of one cubic kilometre) contain worlds of diversity. These worlds are basically united, using a combined web-exhibition.
