Nikatan Foundation happy with Worldschool students

Last year (2009 - 2010) a Worldschool team from the Juvenaat participated in the CRD programme. The Niketan foundation, working in Bangladesh, wanted the team to develop educational material for children with learning disabilities. Some interesting info has been added to the website: Two presentations from the Knowledge day in Delft, on how to set up yourPWS and do your research. New dating service available: 42 experts!

A list of 42 (!!) cultural experts from IHS/ Erasmus university Rotterdam, who can contribute to your assigment. They are part of the new and improved dating service: from now on you can contact the experts yourself (you don’t have to email Worldschool first). Make use of the dating service because it is helpful and lots of fun! NB: Worldschool expects your school to reimburse the student for the travelling costs, and of course you can’t let the student go with an empty stomach!Log in and start dating!

Another great day at another great university

Worldschool – TU Delft day: a big success

On October 14 a group of almost 60 Worldschool students came together at TU Delft, for a so-called Knowledge Day. After an interesting presentation on developing wheelchairs for handicapped children in Ghana, a short introduction on PWS/ research paper and a guided tour in the (beautiful) TU Library, the Worldschool students participated in three different workshops.  Read more ›

Worldschool Event 2010 successful

This year 475 students and 76 teachers from 30 schools for secondary education worked with Worldschool's 65 CRD assignments. 420 students and teachers attended the Worldschool Even 2010 to show and discuss the results of their work and to participate in the presentations of others. Students from ISS en IHS, managers from PUM, members of partner organisations, teachers from new schools and many task providers joined to discuss the quality of the work. A perfect match:Uganda meets Holland

A new group of international students joined our Meet the Dutch programme. Goal of the programme is to create a match: ISS and IHS students meet Worldschool pupils working on a specific assignment. Worldschool Event 2009 - enthusiasm and quality

Welcome to new school

Worldschool welcomes SG Winkler Prins Veendam. This twelfth school starts January 2008 with Worldschool work.

Website updated

September 2007. After a successful pilot, students from ten schools will work within the Consultancy, Research & Design on questions that have been addressed to Nabuur. Inside the developing school CSG Comenius Leeuwarden experience is furthermore gained with working in order of small developmental organisations. The completely renewed website offers pupils a working environment with support both content - and process wise, possibilities to communicate, to store their work and to publicise results. The website has officially been opened at the first 'take-off meeting' 2007 (click for photos).

International prize for Worldschool advisors

Christian Helder and Antony Talen (CSG Comenius Leeuwarden) did not only win the fourth prize of the Jan Kommandeur contest for profile papers of the Rijks Universiteit Groningen with their research ‘Pan from Senegal'. Together with all prize winners they presented their work on an international conference in St. Petersburg with much success: they won the first prize. Read more!
